The GUILD (Galactic Unit & Interplanetary Law Division) is comprised of a myriad of races spanning several galaxies who have set their differences aside, concentrated on their commonalties, and anticipated the need for a law enforcement body with the power to apprehend those who have committed felonious acts. We pursue those who have fled the territorial boundaries from which a particular government has jurisdiction.
As a Guild Ranger, we have the power to make arrests. In most territories, we override the local law enforcement officials. The GUILD does NOT, nor any of its members, have the power to perform judicial duties.

The primary purpose and focus of a Ranger is to retrieve lawbreakers and turn them over to the proper authorities. The offender will then be tried under the customs and laws set forth by the appropriate principal government.

RED HOUND & BLUE HOUND

Longtime friends — Ffrig (RED HOUND) and Wwrey (BLUE HOUND) — seem to be identical in most physical respects (as are most male Llehrimites). However, they differentiate themselves by using a unique method of communication by "speaking" across specific radiowave bands as Llehrimites have no vocal abilities. Their natural silence, ability to cling to surfaces, and sleek, stealthy appearance make them superior trackers. Llehrimites are nocturnal by nature, yet Ffrig and Wwrey have shattered that perception by performing their duties regardless of time.

Ffrig and Wrey are honored by the deputization given them by S'LoZ TyaNoK. They are loyal companions of S'LoZ and have served the GUILD well.

THE NOMAD SERIES CRUISER
& Nomad Assistant Computer ("NAC")

The Nomad series is the predominantly issued GUILD vehicle. The Nomad series is known for its reliability over long periods of time, which is particularly useful for GUILD RANGERS and the distances they must travel as necessary to perform their duties. The Nomad series is outfitted with a computer assisted program that is linked to GUILD Central and is capable of transmitting and receiving messages and pertinant information. The Nomad Assistant Computer (or "NAC") is a program ... and NAC is not ("technically speaking") sentient. However, NACs that have been in commission for long periods of time have the capability to learn and adapt.

All GUILD issue NACs are committed to following the instructions of a RANGER. S'LoZ pilots one of the earliest Nomad series cruisers and its NAC has developed a unique "personality" due to its longevity in the field. The newer models don't have quite as much "personality" because they have not had as much experience or action. In some ways, the NAC's "personality" could be construed as inefficient. S'LoZ has opted to continue working with his "vintage" NAC's unique, but "experienced personality [shown above]," over the streamlined, more powerful, newer, and more "inexperienced" models.
