SUBMISSIONS
ARComics is always keeping an eye out for pencilers, inkers and colorists. If you think you would be an asset to the ARComics team, please follow the instructions below so we can review your material.
The Internet has opened up the doors to a whole new medium for storytelling and technology enables us to work with artists from around the globe. The ability to transfer files and artwork via the Internet is granting opportunities to talented people who are not in a major metropolitan area. While the Internet has spawned various new companies and financial success stories, we can only hope that through our hard work and determination, we can achieve future success as well. With that being said, these positions INITIALLY are not paid opportunities, however, the experience and portfolio that can be built from the work you produce is invaluable.
If selected you will be directed to finished examples of the digital animated comic books that we are iin the process of creating, to give you a sense of the unique hybrid style that is perfect for a digital portable device (such as the Sony PSP) that is capable of supporting Adobe/Macromedia Flash.

PENCILERS
You must be able to draw the human form well and have a flair for storytelling through your artwork.
You must be able to draw background objects as well... from rooms, to outdoors, to spaceships, etc...
If selected, you should be able to produce work in a regular manner.
We would like to review STORY PANEL PAGES and a COVER/PINUP!

INKERS
You must be able to separate background objects from foreground objects, and uphold the pencilers details, while adding your own minor touches.
If selected, you should be able to produce work in a regular manner.
We would like to see STORY PANEL PAGES and a COVER/PINUP, as well as the original pencils for comparison.

COLORISTS
You must be able to color and highlight effectively. We prefer computer color, however, traditional color will be reviewd as well.

WRITERS
At this time we are not looking for writers, but we may in the near future. Check back from time to time.

ANIMATORS
We are looking for Flash Animators. The type of flash animators we are looking for will be able to bring creativity and enhancements to our style of animated comic book. You must be able to adhere to some "rules and standards" that we establish for any given title. Yet within that framework, be able to not lose sight of the goal of our unique hybrid version of a digital comic book.
If selected, you should be able to produce work in a regular manner.
Flash Animators DO NOT need to be able to create conventional frame by frame 2-D animation.

SUBMISSIONS FORM
Due to the nature of the work we produce, the medium in which it is distributed, and the cost of mailing samples, we STRONGLY suggest you make your materials available for review via the internet.
The EASIEST, FASTEST, way for us to evaluate your artwork/portfolio samples is to simply give us a link taking us DIRECTLY to your artwork/material.
